MONDAY MORNING WORK PARTY!!!!

Work Party Monday Morning at 9:00
a.m.

You may have noticed that a big culvert has been
removed from the bottom of Deadly Descent. On Monday morning Earl
and Howard and the rest of the tool box gang will be heading in to build a
bridge over the brook where the culvert was located. They
will also look at widening the section of trail between the exit
of Oliver's Twist and up Hayes Hump to the taril joins Abbey
Road ... some widening has to be done on this section of trail to get the BR250
through, but most of it is good. I think it is a work party in the
morning and a ski party in the afternoon. While I cannot make the
gathering, I will be with them via satellite and making sure that Howard "two
features" Skinner files a full report. I find that if Earl and Don C and
Dan R are left alone they sometimes leasn on the shovels, so Howard has been
given leadhand responsibilities. And Howard will have his hands full
because they've hired on Dave King for Monday so he has given Howard added
responsibility. Dave is still classed as a novice even though he has
thirty years experience looking after the hydro lines in the
province. Equipment: .. shovels, axe, powersaws, pickaxe, and
a comedic attitude.
