Moores Has Pen in Hand

Moores Has
Pen in Hand

Due to all the
kafuffle(hard word to spell) about the volunteers at the chalet and their
waywardness ... or lack of on-task diligence ... or turning their attention to
other joys .... or ... well lets say there is more going on at the chalet
with the volunteers that slinging wood and writing day passes and this has got
the membership in an uproar. Rumbolt is in hiding ... Roseann Ploughman
who moved to Stephenville to relax in her retirement has stopped the quilt
production line that she had commisioned to raise funds for the club along with
Anne-Marie ... and now Wallace Moore's threatens to pick up pen and assault
the lanky Rumbolt. Wallace said, "Dan's too big to
tackle physically, so I may use my pen instead." President
Fowlow came to me just after the Masters today and he said "he don't know
what to be doing". (excuse the insertion of "don't" for "doesn't" but like in
good country and western songs, it just don't fit) ... Yes, Fowlow is in a
quandary. You see Rumbolt is in the tool box gang so he has currency
in the volunteer department. Wallace and Roaseann and Anne Marie are
also dedicated givers of time to the ski club so who does Fowlow side
with. He's dam ... (opps can't say that word) ... yes he is in a pickle
which ever way he turns. The only thing Fowlow can think of is to move
back into his old position as college president and have the chalet offer
community education programs. Like the ones that use to be offered when
Ros Churchill was in that department. Howard Skinner could teach
rabbit skinning as his name notably illustrates the skills he possesses,
the quilters are shoo-ins, Bob Whalen Hheavy Equipment as Rumbolt indicated,
Pete Sutherland science for retirees, Jack Lamond Small Engine Repair
.... Dan could combine with Sarah White and do conversational French ... on
second thought we best leave Dan out of it as he's caused enough racket as
it is ..... the list of courses offered could be long and varied.
Hopefully Wallace will not be too hard on Dano ... he's a good man with a shovel
...

Graham ...hmmm and Rolland could do prospecting, Don
Cormier and Ralph Payne Powerlifting, Bert Young Bike repair, Doug Fowlow Motor
cycle maintenance, Georgina could do "Getting the most out of your hair" for
balding men like me ... oh I can't stop .. the courses just keep flowing in ..
after another ski dan and i might have a full roster
