Mary Pond's ... Sorry "Lake's" Chowder
Wins the Day .. Marjie's Chili takes the Blue Ribbon
Mary Lake made a wicked pot of chowder and her
donation was accompanied by a can of apricot biscuits so she
took first place in the chowder competition today. Of course, I was
partial to my dear wife's chilli and had two bowls of Marjie's fabrication
and she was awarded the blue ribbon in that category. But I had two
of Mary POnd's oh Lake yes larger body of water .. apricot
biscuits. Diane Hanratty took the gold medal in the turkey
soup category last week and the awards keep flying out the chalet door with
every pot that comes in over the threshold. Thanks to all for their
generous donations ... maybe we can have cooking listed under the
Hobby Courses that president Fowlow will be coordinating at the
chalet.
