writing to ask you to pass my apologies on to Dan. You see Anne-Marie and I had
planned on doing 3 or 4 quilts in our spare time (when we're not on duty of
course) and raising around two or three thousand dollars for Whaleback (we had
already arranged for tickets to be sold province wide and the demand for our
handiwork was phenomenal) but since neither of us have the heart to upset Dan we
scrapped the whole idea and called off all the plans. Who knows, maybe the
Curling Club may use our donations....Happy skiing
