Bring a Friend Skiing: As you are aware, Whaleback is offering this incredible special on skiing. Join up now and ski the rest of the season plus all next year ... we have lots of skiing left and if you are a new member you get free rentals and a 25% new membership discount. We are trying to get people active and get them out on the trails and get their hearts, that may be a bit sluggish, pumping. Whaleback is Western Health's best friend. If we can get people moving during those chilly months, they may just remain active all year around. So here's the pitch. Call up a friend and ask them to come out to try skiing, help them get set up with gear from the rentals, tell them about our special, when they say that they don't have skis tell them that the ski club will outfit them for a year. How can they refuse. Once on skis ... take them for a short tour ... help them along ... show them Beaver Tail Flat ... and afterwards drop by the chalet for a hot chocolate. sit around the woodstove and feel the bubbly effervescence odd social interaction ...oops I am getting evangelical again .. tone it down Graham
